Here are some answers to frequently asked questions about our products and services. 

Our stroopwafel mix has a shelf life of 1 year after production. 
We have fresh production every month. 
After 1 year, this mix can of course still be used, but the best-before date of 1 year is mandatory in the Netherlands. 

The instant syrup consists largely of sugar, sugar has no shelf life. 
To avoid problems with export at customs, we use a best before date of 3 years. 

 

Stroopwafel info; 

OR you bake Superstroopwafels (13 cm 70 grams of dough to 18 cm with 90 grams of dough)
for direct sale and consumption, 
the stroopwafel can be placed in a K 21 cone, for example. 
with our mix you have the tastiest crispy stroopwafel, but a short shelf life. 

To extend the shelf life, some fat can be added while kneading the dough, eg soft or melted butter or margarine. Palm fat, coconut fat, everything is possible. 
the more fat, the longer the shelf life, but the biscuit will be less crispy. 

My advice: 
Bake the large fresh stroopwafels as tasty as possible, and charge a hefty price for this, eg 2.5 to 3 euros. 
and sell ready-made packages with your own sticker on it (white label) 
purchase eg 1.25/1.50 per package sales 3,- per package - 3 packages for 8,-

By wrapping the stroopwafel, the customer can take it with him, for example as a gift. 
the less air in the packaging, the longer the shelf life. 
It is possible to cool stroopwafels to extend the shelf life, 
or to freeze them for an even longer shelf life.
