Want to make your own Liège waffles? 


Here's the recipe. 

Ingredients for 8 to 10 waffles. 

250 gram flour 
7 gram dried yeast 
1 teaspoon sugar (fine) 
1/2 teaspoon salt 
115 gram lukewarm milk 
15 gram melted butter unsalted 
2 eggs 
200 gram pearl sugar P4 

Mix the 75 gram flour with the yeast and sugar 
Add the lukewarm milk and stir until smooth. 
Let it rise in a warm place for 30 minutes. 
Stir the rest of the flour, butter, salt and eggs into the risen batter. 
Add the pearl sugar and let it rest for 15 minutes. 
 

Heat the waffle iron and grease well, eg with a pan coating.
Fill with batter and close the waffle iron. 
Bake the waffle(s) for 4 to 5 minutes until golden brown. 

Have fun waffles.
