Making stroopwafels and shelf life

Item 9 of 16

The shelf life of a syrup waffle mainly depends on the fat content in the syrup waffle dough
and the hardness of the syrup.

The stroopwafel mix from our webshop has been developed for the best quality Superstroopwafel.
You can extend the shelf life of this by adding some melted margarine or melted butter while mixing the dough.

The harder the syrup is, the less moisture is released into the syrup waffle cake.
The longer the shelf life.

Pack the stroopwafels for a longer shelf life, preferably airtight.

Refrigerate the stroopwafels to keep them fresh longer.

Freeze the stroopwafels to store them for a long time.

Wrap in foil?
Remove as much air from the packaging as possible for a longer shelf life.
A vacuum machine is the best option for this.

Want to make your own stroopwafel packs?
That is not economically feasible.
We are happy to sell you blank packs of stroopwafels, without a name on it.
Stick your own sticker on it, and voila.... Your own stroopwafel brand.
