How to clean a stroopwafel machine.

Item 4 of 16

The sugar in the stroopwafel dough or in the stroopwafel mix burns into the baking tray.

It is important to clean this regularly.

Do not use water, soap or cleaning agents!
A wire brush is actually the best way to keep the stroopwafel machine clean.

After use, turn off the machine.
Let cool until the machine has almost cooled down.
The deposit is then still soft and easier to remove than when it has cured.

Brush with the lines on the plate for best results.

Wipe with a piece of paper and, if necessary, use a handheld vacuum or a vacuum cleaner
to suck up the flakes.
